Looks like maybe the letter n I use my eye loupe but still hard to read

The ones on the left are banding or strapping cutters. That is what the little extra piece is for. So the banding doesn't whip up and hit you in the eye after you cut it.
 I have some just about like them, and used others for years at the mine. 

 The end nippers are just regular nippers someone reefed on too hard, and bent the handles.

Interlake is still around, they make packaging and warehouse equipment, so yes.

But they don't make drop forge tools.....

And those seem a bit older than usual...

wondering if it was (m) (Moore Drop forge) who made it...interesting...
