Hi from Georgia
« on: June 04, 2012, 12:23:33 PM »
I just found this site last night...
Looks good, I'll try to come back and see what I can see about tools and equipment.

I'm a magazine writer and swap meet show promoter, and have loved hot rods and tools since I was a kid.
I'm constantly adding to my tool and equipment collection, and really enjoy building my own shop equipment.

I've got a '57 Chevy gasser, '54 Buick, '56 Chevy and '73 Duster that are all taken apart and in "project" status, while my daily driver is a '61 Chevy Suburban that I've wracked up over 50,000 miles through 17 states with in the last 6 years, and my wife's daily is a rare '61 Corvair station wagon.

Welcome to tooltalk brad.

We love to talk about antique and vintage tools, feel free to ask any questions about your antiuque or vintage tools along with share pictures. We love pictures :)
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

Welcome to the board from Arkansas!  That sure is a long list of older rides.

Forget about my question regarding the year of the corvair, I must be blind.

I hate to tell you, but you'll probably become an addict when it comes to this site.  We have a way of "pulling persons in."  I'm very happy that you've joined this "motley crew."  We're a lot of fun, and full of information.  I'm guessing you probably have a lot of information that we do not have... either way, welcome to the "crew!"
I grew up in charlottesville, Va....... live in Nelson County, VA.   I hope that you are doing well and will continue to "hang out" with us.
cheers,
