Really odd LANE UNIQUE "nut driver" type socket set
« on: March 30, 2022, 10:11:35 AM »
Anyone ever see any of these LANE UNIQUE sockets, screwdrivers, or the ball pein hammer with the matching socket in the end of the handle?  I found this listing in a 1914 WYETH HARDWARE (St. Joseph, MO) catalog in the International Tool Catalog Library at archive.org.

What would be unique  would be to find one together still.   Never seen a Lane tool and I buy stuff of this nature often.

Lane's "Unique" Set A - 1912 Marshall-Wells Hardware Co. catalog pp 610

see also HERE: https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/lane-ratchet.380158/ (see posts #15 and #25)

Do not know and have not heard of any reports of anyone actually finding one of these sets other than the engravings in old catalogs.
