Title: Shoulder...Crashed....The new house.
Post by: OilyRascal on December 21, 2015, 07:28:01 PM
Ive been disconnected for a while and wanted to check in and say howdy.

Shoulder - About early September I managed to waste both my rotator cuff and my biceps in my primary use arm.  Had surgery where they had to reattach both and remove bone and spurs.  Recovering slowly but still only have limited use
after two months.

CRASHED - during my tenure of no arm use the laptop has taken a poop.  Im stressed over data recovery.  My message is via one of those smart phones and is difficult to type and read.

The new house - all this during my building a home for myself.  Nearly finished lacking kitchen cabinets.  Delayed over health problems.  I had hoped to be done by now.  My interest in tools and this forum hasn't changed despite how my days have.  I will have more time for this (my love of tools) later.

A Belated Happy Birthday to Noel.

I wonder if any news of Rusty has surfaced.

A new addition to the NY catalog is in my hands.  Will scan.

If I haven't responded to a pm I will.   If I've told you I will do something, I will.

OilyRascal, take your time with rehab,  the wife had the rotator cuff surgery, yes, it takes time to get better.

just do not let your mind overrule your bodies feelings.

good luck in recovery.

Merry Christmas.

Good to hear from you. Time will heal your shoulder, but you may have to buy a new laptop.

Ouch, Oily!  Do take it easy, and believe the doctor when he says "don't do this yet."

Dang Oily, when I saw the crashed part was afraid you had wasted the good Docs work or something.  Kitchen Cabinets, does this mean you got more than one plate and cup?

I have a couple less vertebrae after this week.  Lots of new hardware that will sound off with metal detectors.  Doing my best to use the recover time making things right in tool land.

Dang, you ought to be up north where I am, the cold weather shuts down  all my heavy activities, ideal time of year to rest up after hospital visits.  Hope the pain is tolerable,  expect you have rehab coming, best you behave there.

Think positive Oily, now you won’t be quite as cramped in airline seats. Hang in there buddy, and do what the therapist says. Sometimes they really do know what they are talking about. Good luck with the recovery!

Thank you, all.  I hopeful at some point it makes a turn to "light duty" so I can get more tool organized.
