Garage sale Friday 11/17/17

I spotted an interesting garage sale on Craigslist and stopped by on my way home from work.  I bought 4 large hangers for the garage wall for $1.00 each  All the tools in the photo cost $3.50. Two large wire brushes, two drill mount wire wheels, MF 2-1/4" hole saw, Unknown very heavy large tap handle, pliers and a C-man "spiral flute" reamer.  The reamer is near to 7/8" at the wide part and is marked Craftsman and has a B in a shield shape logo (Bonney?).
The pliers are marked LODT on one side and PAT. SEP. 25 1894.  Below that date is NOV 6 1900. Datamp indicates these patent numbers - 526479 and RE11,868 to Bernard.  These pliers have no spring.

I wonder if those pliers are parallel jaw pliers, like other Bernard pliers?

Nice haul. The tap handle and reamer are great finds. I look for the same kind of stuff. The box the reamer came in is a bonus.

The pliers are not parallel jaw, just a one rivet pivot.  The patent shows a return spring but these have no spring.  I'll offer the pliers for sale.
Yeah, I like the big tap handle and will clean that up.  And the reamer is larger than the other reamers I have.

Right, Lou!  I looked up the patent and found a note stating Lodi was an economy brand of Schollhorn.  That explains why there's no spring in the handle.

Named in honor of the California town?  Probably not in honor of the Creedence Clearwater song.
