I was talking to Batz over in Australia recently about blowtorches and said I would post some pics of a few that I have. The back row left to right consists of the following; KF Erickssons Sweden, Otto Bernz Rochester NY, Pri-Mus No821 Sweden, Otto Bernz NY (aluminum tank),Dominion 500, and a Hercules. Middle row left to right, Max Sievert Sweden, Darlton Australia. Front row L to R Primus Sweden and what appears to be a home made job with no markings. The second pic is some others that have illegible or no markings at all. The next 2 pics are some misc soldering irons and a few electric soldering irons.

Nice mix of torches you have there, it's unusual to see a Darlton Australia outside this country, and the one you have with the paint scraper attachment is uncommon even here.
Can you email me a picture of the little alcohol torch that looks home made? That one looks interesting.

I have 2 (white gas) Craftsman & the Old red one can't make out the label. Any information on the ages & ID of the red torch?
also found a Old Sears (#1 fuel Oil/Kerosene) Weed Burner that works great!!! can't believe how large & strong that blowtorch flame is.. ~24"+

The red torch was made by Unique Mfg. Co. of Chicago.
The one pictured is a No. 0 torch. sheet metal tank, from around 1947.

I thought I'll post a few pictures of some of my torch collection, I have them in my rustic bar room, this was once a garage.
I'm also a very keen all grain or full mash home brewer.

Your other torch is a Bernz Co. torch. It will have a number stamped on top of the pump plunger handle.
Looks like it would be in the 80's models, perhaps an 83A or 84A. Hard to tell from the photo.
Tell me the number and I can give some more information.

The model 88 was advertised in the Bernz catalog in 1936.

With all the torches, how can you tell which runs on; white gas, alcohol, fuel oil, or other...?

Perhaps a little long winded to go into here.

I was prowling around downstairs and came across two more interesting torches. The little chrome guy has no markings of any kind so I have no idea about it. The second one is a small Lenk brand "BLOTORCH" model No 104B made in Boston. It came in its original box along with a small instruction leaflet and an original packing slip dated June 3rd, 1950. It was sold by the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company in Seattle to a D.H. Wilcox on 4th and State St. in Olympia, Washington. It does show signs of having been used but it is in very good condition. Because it is a packing slip it has no price on it which would be interesting to know. Included with this leaflet is a parts price list showing the most expensive part (the complete generator assembly) at a price of $1.11 (must include an additional 10 cents for shipping and handling).

The chrome one is a Lenk model No.108 The Lenk catalog 1940 had it listed for $1.25. It was sold as a torch for radio and television repair men.
