Title: Glad!
Post by: t115145 on September 23, 2017, 06:36:18 PM
I'm A buyer for most aircraft tools,  P&W, Wright, Lycoming or Continental.  I'm still working and have them in my tool kit for use.

T115145,
Ack! Do you ever sell them??

I've got a really hard one for you, it's a PWA 3267 splined socket. Can't find them anywhere. Got any to sell?

I'd say welcome, but I just got here myself. Working on some R-2800's for a local aircraft museum.   Love the engines, love the tools, hate the prices.

Best, John

Wow! Is that the supercharger impellor drive?  If your working for a museum, try the AF museum, or the Naval Av museum in Pensacola.  They may lend the tool or have one in stock.  How about Covington Engines, they do a ton of overhauls.

I found a spline socket (Craftsman) at the flea market,  16mm.  I bet they make them in SAE.  Good luck with the hunt.
