What distributor tool has that little slot?  Or is it a tire valve tool?

I’d go with "tire valve" tool.

I see the slot now, I would never have guessed tire valve tool, but I like it!!

I'm guessing tire valve tool, too. (no evidence present, like a name stamp anywhere ).  Never seen one in this configuration before...have the valve caps with the tool built in and that marked Schrader brass tool (previously pictured here) as well as the "X" shaped tool.

to be a tire valve tool there must be a bore in the end to accommodate the valve stem... is there a bore? And id the diameter correct?

sorry those angles don't show the bore hole.   Yup, it's the correct size for valves!
