New tool guy
« on: October 01, 2013, 02:23:27 PM »
Hello from WI!

I came across this forum a while back and decided to join up because you all seem like great people.  I'm mainly a woodworking tool collector (chisels, axes/hatchets, drawknives, etc..) but have been broadening my horizons into old wrenches.  I'll probably be asking more questions than answering them as I'm 22 and have been on the lookout for old tools for only about 3 years now.  I'm looking forward to contributing to this forum as much as I can.  Thanks!

Hi, and welcome from Florida.  Nice to have another young fella that has taken an interest in old tools...helps to balance all us old "geezer's" on here.  Don't be afraid to ask questions.  There is a wealth of knowledge on this site.  And it is freely shared.

Welcome to the forum from Illinois.

I am just 18, its good to know ime not the only younger person interested in antique tools.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
