Title: Backwards Bahco adjustable wrench
Post by: Tool Pants on May 02, 2011, 01:54:32 AM
It has been discussed before, and it still bugs me.

The top one is normal.  When you push/rotate the thumb screw the jaw closes like a normal adjustable.

The second and third ones are backwards, as they work in the opposite direction.  When you push on the screw the jaw opens.  They are from a Saab and Volvo.  The threads are reversed for some reason on these two.

I have never seen any adjustables that work backwards like the Saab and Volvo.  All three are made by Bahco.

The BAHCO adjustables I have are the same.
Did you notice that they open wider than "crescents" of the same size?
