The small piece is another Alemite storage box. I didn't have room fo another photo in that post. Here it is. It is 6 3/4" X 8 1/2".  It looks a little frumpy because it was painted silver when I got it.

Nice recovery! I like to remove over-coats of paint, to find out what is inside. Usually not successful, but interesting nonetheless.

A couple years ago I bought a heavy brass license plate frame, with the Mack truck logo on it. Have you seen these? Are they uncommon?
