Title: Drill Index
Post by: lptools on February 12, 2019, 06:00:44 PM
Hello, I bought this on the bay. It appears to be hand made, I am guessing by a metal worker, jeweler, or machinist. It is a Number Drill Index, copper body & tubes to hold the drills, brass latch, and the piece that holds the smallest sizes is made of wood. Sizes are stamped on the rim of the lower half, and into the top of the wood piece. There are a few burn marks on the wood, and possibly a couple broken bits that I will need to remove. I used the dollar bill as a reference for size, and to show how much of my monthly tool budget is left!!!  Questions, comments, suggestions ,welcomed. Regards, Lou
