Title: Black and Decker U-1021 right angle attachment
Post by: Bill Houghton on July 23, 2012, 11:36:28 AM
I picked this Black and Decker U-1021 right angle drill attachment up several weeks back, but didn't get a chance to take a picture until lately: a Black and Decker right angle attachment for a drill, from the era when Black and Decker made some right nice stuff. The attachment is pictured, below, at the bottom right of the pic, with its box and instructions. Also in the picture are an Arco right angle attachment (top left, with its cute red handle) and a modern nameless one (just for comparison purposes). Notice that the B&D model is way more robust in construction; see, there WAS a time when Black and Decker was a respectable tool company.

Over the years, I've needed attachments like this a few times. In the normal way of things, most of these occasions occurred before I owned one.

I've scanned and included, below, the instructions for this nifty device. I wonder if it's worth inquiring of modern-day Blackened Drecker to see if they still carry U-2194 lubricant?

Hmm, you have to remove the chuck to use it tho, that sounds like fun....LOL
