Title: 1908 ratchet & socket set
Post by: coolford on January 18, 2022, 03:49:15 PM
I bought this set about 20 years ago, Will B. Lane, Chicago, Ill. USA Pat. Jan. 14, 08.  It did not come with the extension shown in the first picture.  The extension was in a box lot I bought at the MVRC meeting in Ohio.  The set is 5/8" hex drive and it took me awhile to figure out which old set the extension belonged to in my collection.  The ratchet is called "Super Uniquie" and I guess it is as it reverses by moving the spring steel wire from one side to the other of the stud on the wrench.  Not a maker listed on Alloy Artifacts.

Lane ratchets are often seen on the bay.
