Hi all. This was part of my aunt's estate. Kind of a leftover.
Overall length when assembled is 2 1/8" and the diameter is no more than 1/4". Screws together.
Only 2 pieces. Hollow point piece and solid pointed piece with a hole...maybe for a keychain or for a neck chain?

That's a polite ladies candy biopsy punch.
She unscrews the hollow part, warms it in her fingers, and sticks it into the bottom of a piece of candy to see if it's a flavor she likes. The punch part clears the candy core from the tube.
Polite ladies use them because squeezing chocolates ain't polite.
The loop on the punch is so she can retain the punch on her bracelet and palm the tool easily to avoid getting caught.

Seriously Phil? Really? I mean that is the best explanation so far! Aunt Ella was certainly a polite lady, so I suppose she might have one.

Honestly, I can't recall ever meeting your Aun't Ella, fact is the only Ella I know is a Golden Retriever, but I will damn sure tell you I've made and given away over a dozen candy samplers from ss tube and welding rod over the years.
I always sharpened mine using either a center drill or countersink because that allows a clean cut without exploding the hunk of candy.
You watch uppidy women in a buffet setting, as they pass the candy they always eyeball it top & bottom to see if another lady has corebored the piece.
