What is this wrench used for?

I purchased this wrench with a box of other tools.  I have not see it before.  I looks like it is some type of specialized wrench for maybe a machine.  Just a guess. Any ideas?  Thanks,

Any markings?  Some of the adjustable door closer devices have odd shaped wrenches.

There are no markings on the wrench, either side.

Definitely a wrench issued to fit all the fasteners you would find on something.  Tracking down which something could get challenging.

I agree on the tough identification.  I am usually reasonably good on identification of tools, but this one has me stumped.

That was my first thought as well, but the military ones are usually well marked with an umpteen digit number.

Yabbut, the wrench that was once the standard toolkit wrench for British three-speed bicycles looked vaguely like this, as well.  Could be a machine gun.  Could (though probably not) be a bicycle wrench.  Only the Shadow knows, and she ain't tellin'.

You want to find a classic English three-speed (Raleigh, for instance), almost all of which, in my experience, used the same size/design of major nuts and bolts.  You'll just get confused on a Schwinn or a modern bike.
