I offer this in defense of posted older King Dick wrenches which have seen better days. This shiny 7 5/8" King Dick was found in UK. Its date of manufacture, 1967, is stamped on it. The legend BRITISH MADE is embossed on either side of the KING DICK boss. On the other side, the letter "D" and a model number "A704" are embossed on either side of KING DICK. The opening Across the Flats* (A/F) sizes of the openings are stamped in inches (3/4 A/F and 11/16 A/F) and in some other metric (75 A/F and 69 A/F). The actual opening sizes, in inches, are 3/4 and 11/16.
There is also a small stamped "B S" to the left of the "69 A/F" stamp, and "Chrome Vanadium is stamped on the back side of that jaw. The larger opening is stamped with 9106003↑1967 across the base of the jaw. I remember being told this wrench was a military surplus item when I bought it 10 years ago.
