Walworth was the original maker of Stillson wrenches- http://www.papawswrench.com/wrenches.htm#stillson
After the patents ran out many others produced stillson wrenches, and lots of folks still call most pipe wrenches "stillson" wrenches.
If you have uses for those wrenches, you did well, Neil.

Thanks for the link.

I will use the basin wrench, I like it the grips are nice and not worn down like I first expected. I probably wont use the pipe wrenches much but If I need to I will use them. I just have a few small ones an then a few big ones so its nice to have something this size if I need it.

The first time you need to work under a sink you'll find out how much you love the basin wrench. Although the handyman magazine I get every month has a "newer" style  tool that supposedly works better. Not wanting to pay $26 to find out.

I have never had to work alone under a sink. I worked along side a plumber once who had one and see were it is very handy. Without one I could just imigane the frusteration of having to do stuff under a sink.

I am sure there will be a day were I will need it.

Oh and I thought it was cool so I wanted it. For one dollar I couldnt go wrong.
