This 575 page catalogue from an old-time Canadian hardware distributor was published in 1923. It gives an unprecedented look at the needs of Howland's customers, most of whom were general store owners across the vast stretches of the Canadian land. This particular catalogue has a Registration No. (1172) and was lent to C. B Hamm of Queensboro, Ontario on June 21 , 1923. The Division Index page photo gives an idea of the scope of Howland's offerings. The wrench pages show a mixture of U. S. brands (lots of Mossberg tools and boxed ratchet socket sets, for instance) and Gray tools.
