Title: Trench digging tool???

Garden type tool belonging to a friend.  Does it have a name?   Would like to buy one but I don't know what to ask for.  Thanks.

 its for laying tile...  for drainage in a field "i think" correct me if im wrong

 Right on. it is for tiling;have one in my shed. Don't intend to use it.

I have seen these listed in old catalogs as gutter cleaners, used for cleaning out curb gutters.  I will have to try to find that reference.

 SELLENS lists this tool as drain cleaner for drainage tiles and ditchs. page 156

brings back some childhood memories, lots of work during the summer months for kids with too much time on their hands!
