Tools at Wintercycle Therapy yesterday
« on: February 24, 2019, 09:46:51 AM »
A motorcycle show to relieve "cabin fever" at the Glenn H Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport NY.  This wall of tools hangs in the Restoration Shop.

In an outbuilding they are rebuilding this P40 that crashed in the Everglades.

What can you tell me about this pair of pliers?  What would they have used for?  Can't read the top line, second line "JAMESTOWN, NY", third line - possibly a patent date that looks like "--T SEPT 01 1908.  WAIT!!! I searched Jamestown on AA and found them!  Patent Sept 8, 1903.

Hjorth - I found them on AA where that ad was pictured.  It may be confusing with the 2 other company names in the ad.  Apparently the distributor (New York) and the retailer (San Francisco).

As the advertisement mentions, they are for use on pipe.  I have a couple of the sizes.
